The World's First Twin-wheel 26-M Casting Machine Designed and Supplied by China Nerin has been Successfully Put into Operation

Recently, the world's first twin-wheel 26-M casting machine with four casting ladles and plate takeoff robot designed and supplied by China Nerin has been successfully put into operation in the relocation project of Southwest Copper Smelter.

China Nerin designed the smelting plant and the sulfuric acid plant for the project and also supplied some proprietary equipment. The smelting plant adopts the industry-leading short-process technology with 3 furnaces: "oxygen-enriched side-blown furnace for smelting + multi-lance top-blown furnace for continuous converting + rotary anode furnace for refining". The anode furnace system consists of two 660-ton rotary anode furnaces and one twin-wheel 26-M casting machine with four casting ladles.

The twin-wheel 26-M casting machine with four casting ladles is the only equipment for anode plate casting in the smelting system. Its casting capacity is up to 150t/h, making it currently the world's largest casting machine. It was independently researched and developed by Jiangxi Nerin Equipment Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Nerin. This casting machine boasts advantages such as long service life of mold, high intelligence, quality anode plates and low management costs.

The successful operation of the casting machine not only significantly saves procurement and maintenance costs for the client but also reduces the equipment footprint by nearly half, bringing remarkable economic benefits. The relocation project of Southwest Copper Smelter uses multiple sets of proprietary equipment of China Nerin such as the scrap conveyor line. "Nerin solutions" contributed to the project for its progress towards intelligence, high-end orientation, and green development.

In recent years, leveraging China Nerin's technological advantages in non-ferrous metal metallurgy and mining engineering design, Jiangxi Nerin Equipment Co., Ltd. has adhered to the innovation-driven strategy and vigorously developed new and quality productive forces.
